SSHRC/CRSH
We gratefully acknowledge the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council/Conseil de recherches en sciences humaines which, through the Insight Development Grants program, has supported this project financially. This support has allowed minorities to be included in the project, and has also allowed for the training of graduate students and the creation of international knowledge networks. This allows us to generate key knowledge to highlight Indigenous values and culture and reduce social injustices.

Fonds de recherche du Québec (FRQ)
We would like to thank the Fonds de Recherche du Québec Société et culture for funding Dr. Déborah Maia de Lima’s post-doctoral fellowship project Giving Voice to Indigenous Young Women: Preventing Sexual and Gender-Based Violence Through Dance and Body Practices, which preceded the Pole-to-Pole project and inspired its creation. We thank the three sectors of Fonds de Recherche du Québec, Société et culture, Santé et Nature and Technologies for its support in subsidizing research and making it possible to generate networks of knowledge which benefit Québec society and communities around the world.
